Using Signs and Graphics in Charlotte to Brand Your Business From Head to Toe!

Shealy Electrical Wholesalers are a supply chain extension for clients. Handling logistics, inventory reduction, and product management, this group succeeds in overseeing fabrication processes as well as numerous merchandise lines. When the company needed to discuss signs and graphics packages in Charlotte, NC, its management team contacted our sign specialists.

Rebranding Six Locations

When we met with the client, we learned that the company intends to rebrand its signage at six locations. We started with the design of four-foot tall channel letters that we mounted flush to the wall. They spell out the Shealy name. The logo graphic’s style elements are on the left. The words “electrical wholesalers” display with dimensional letters.

Next, we changed the look of the company’s cabinet monument sign. It features a sleek, contemporary look with a metal skirt to provide the branding information for motorists. Concurrently, the product is an excellent wayfinding tool. Finally, we worked on the business’ vehicle graphics. The white vans now feature the rebranded name and logo display as well as the company’s website address. A DOT number rounds out the presentation. Consumers see this information on the sides of the vehicles.

Branding Your Business is Crucial

Support customers’ understanding of your brand by providing up to date graphics and information. When rebranding, do not wait too long until you change out your signage products. Instead, get started even before you roll out the new look with online campaigns, direct mail, or as part of your email newsletter. There are a number of signs to upgrade.

  • Lobby sign. We always recommend starting from the inside out. Doing so has the added advantage of allowing you to do the changeover in two stages. Focus on the interior markers first; regroup, and then handle those that customers see outside of your office.
  • ADA and directional signs. Unless you change your corporate colors as part of the rebranding, you may not need to change wayfinding products. But if you do make the color switch, integrating directional signage into the overall change makes sense.
  • Building and property signs. Channel and dimensional letters, the box cabinet’s facing, monument signs, and post and panel wayfinding signage require updates.
  • Vehicle graphics and wraps. Updating treated vehicles can be easier than you think. In some situations, you may not have to redo the entire graphics setup to update changes to a logo or company’s name.
